The short version

Cornsplaining is an audio-only podcast about corn, Nebraska, and the gloriously specific culture of the American Midwest — served with more confidence than credentials.

The longer version

Every region has people who will explain it to you whether you asked or not. We lean into that. Expect county-fair anthropology, casserole diplomacy, weather as a personality trait, and earnest debates about whether “ope” is a full sentence.

This show is intentionally fun and a little irreverent. If you’re looking for a dry ag-economics lecture, you’re in the wrong field. If you want somebody in a ball cap to walk you through why Midwesterners apologize when you bump into them, pull up a folding chair.
